Lightning struck twice. For the second time in a row, we’ve made The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list!
It’s a testament to the investment we put into our people. From working from anywhere in the world to monthly wellbeing budgets, we deeply believe you only get the best out of people when they’re feeling their best. And the results from this year’s Sunday Times Best Places to Work survey just show the positive impact this has on the whole agency.
So let’s dive in and see how we scored against the wider industry.
Diving into the data
Once we found out we made the list, Lorna – our incredible MD – did what she does best and got straight into the data*.
*The data = Everyone at Digital Radish completed an anonymous survey provided by The Sunday Times through WorkL that measured a variety of factors from pay and rewards to diversity and sustainability. This feeds into your Best Places to Work entry, and you’re given the data back once the list has been published.
We wanted to share some of the scores with you all…

How did we fare against the rest of the industry?
How did we achieve these scores?
At Digital Radish, we deeply believe that to get the best out of our team, we need to create unforgettable experiences for them. This means giving them everything they need to learn and succeed and creating space for them to flourish both personally and professionally. After all, we can give our clients even more if we’re working as the best version of ourselves.
Our quarterly happiness survey helps us keep track of what’s working and what’s not in the agency – giving management the opportunity to build on the perks and rewards our team love as well as introduce fresh new initiatives.
Building on what’s worked
- Working anywhere in the world: This perk has grown in popularity over the past year, with more and more Radishes taking the opportunity to work across the globe. Since 2023, we’ve had people working from South America, Australia, France, Italy, and more. You can see what adventures the team have been up to here.
- Wellbeing rewards: Every month, the Radishes receive £30 to put towards anything that will give them a lift – whether that’s a gym membership, a massage, or a trip to a nice hotel. We’ve also got dedicated learning and development budgets with incentives like The Goldfinch Awards, which go to individuals who have introduced innovative new ideas and processes into the agency.
- Flexible working: Every Radish is different and deserves to work in a way that suits them. If brilliant work is being done, we trust the team to do it wherever or whenever they like – whether that’s coming into the office early or late to avoid rush hour, or booking meetings around personal appointments.
New for 2024
- Spark Initiative: A new employee initiative pioneered by our fellow Selbey Anderson Agency AML, Spark encourages employees to come together each quarter to pitch for funding and time (provided by Digital Radish) to realise a dream personal project. It’s an amazing opportunity that has really caught people’s imaginations.
- Radcon 2.0: There’s so much talent and expertise at our agency that we’re desperate to make the most of. After last year’s success, we made our annual RADCON conference even bigger and better for 2024. Alongside excellent talks from our own staff, we invited some top industry outsiders to hold wellbeing workshops and share with us their secrets on behavioural science.
- Growing the team: The development of our team is hugely important, and we want to make sure every Radish has the plan in place to achieve their potential. So alongside some incredibly well-deserved promotions, we’ve attracted even more top talent over the past 6 months to join the team to make sure everyone’s moving in the right direction.
It starts with people
These scores don’t just come from anywhere. As always, it starts with our people – and what an incredibly talented, dedicated, and ambitious group they are. Time and again, they give all of themselves to create truly unforgettable work for our clients, and we can’t thank them enough for their time and dedication.
And as always, we’re looking for new challengers to join the team. So if you think you might just have what it takes to be a Radish, have a look at our careers page for more information.
